it shows that his work not always attract most of the viewers, but definitely shows that he has a power to attract certain viewers for a long time.
Realising how big his works are, it made me think about how he painted these. He did talk about leaving self expression, but I actually felt his presence looking at his works in a good way.

Her big paintings showed more brushstrokes and might be able to bring that aspects to my painting as well as I liked how it created the movement in her paintings.
All of her paintings feel fragile and soft, which it felt like the paintings were coming directly towards my feeling.
It said on the description that she mainly uses Japanese paper and paint, which links to why the paintings look soft in colours and also that affecting the softness in line.
