I really liked how the works were presented on pure white wall, as it allowed the viewer to also look at the wall space with the contradiction to his strong colour works.

His works were rich in the use of how to keep the paint on the surface of the painting which was an interesting aspect to think about for my painting as well.

He used quite lots of colours but does lots of calculation about ' which colour to blend and which colour to keep as it is' which is also what I need to think abut as well.

Although I am not going to create sculptural work, I added this to the workflow because I thought this work really allowed the viewer to communicate.

It gave me the first impression of the pressure by looking at his work, actually his work felt more like not 'looking' but more 'experimenting' which I felt really interesting.

He created the shock between the viewer and the artwork by actually creating the 'expectation difference.' I first thought this work would feel really cold if I touch this, but turned out the work is created to be the same temperature as our hands which gave me a physical reaction of shock and feeling surprised .

I never thought about trying to create something that is opposite to the viewers expectation and using it as the work, so it might be useful to put that element to my work as well..
